Though I've always loved to sing, that passion certainly did not carry over to performing. However, forming a folk band in high school with some friends and performing at many local venues helped to push me out of my comfort zone, and embrace sharing our creative talents. Music has helped me to feel confident in my talents rather than shy away from them, and working with my fellow former bandmates showed me the collaborative and creative work environment I thrive in.
Though I am currently more focused on other creative passions like film and photography, I maintained my involvement in music by joining a college A Cappella group, CU on the Rocks.
