As a high school student, I took part in a 2-year arts and technology program. For our final assignment, we were given a lot of freedom, so I decided to take on a documentary film project. Documentary filmmaking is what I am most interested in within the movie industry.
Growing up in Silicon Valley, I've found many students' extracurriculars revolve around technology. That is, except for the members of the self-proclaimed "Scouting Adventure" group. I was thrilled to find a group united by their love of nature and the outdoors, even in an area synonymous with computers and coders.
